Awesome Paul, thanks…I can’t seem to find the procedures for the knockout round. Who issues the challenge, it says best of three on predetermined maps, but doesn’t say which ones. The big question is who gets to go first twice, if u catch my drift. Higher resulted player picks first and third?

In my opinion It really matters who gets the first move only in Favela. May be Favela should not be in the list of predetermined maps?

It might take a week or 2 to finish this game with Kinonez. He only moves once per day and he hasn’t moved 2 of his characters in what feels like 4 - 5 turns. Since it’s bridge it’s near impossible to cap the site with Juan on the map. I got 2 pts but he’s just crawling around trying to 1 shot 1 of my guys and not even attempting to move towards the objective. The game would probably be over but when I started I accidentally picked LaHack when I meant to pick Juan so I’m pretty much ****ed on damage.

Anyway, I’ll keep you posted as it goes on. I lost vs Mitsid but I’ve beaten everyone else in our group and can’t figure out your site to update who won/lost so I can’t put it in.

The brackets are up, if you didn’t understand how to enter scores, you should have posted this earlier, up to know you had only entered two of your games, one win and a loss adding 3 points, against mitisd 10 and kinonez21 7 points, you seemed the least active of the group, Paul had also posted that the brackets would start on monday, but it seems the comment is no longer there, either way they started yesterday… I don’t know why he is responding only once a day though, he usually is very active… I would hate that a huge deal is made over this at the end it’s just a game! Have fun win or loose!

I posted that on page 1. I was informed to look at my group for my opponents and to play them which I did (and still doing.) I am a more active player usually making 4+ turns a day. I didn’t see a post here about new brackets or I would have made a bit more of a fuss about it not updating my entries.

Anyway, It all makes sense now though, he wasn’t making turns and intentionally dragging it out so he would advance in the new brackets. In our current game he is down 1 and unable to to advance on the map. He even messaged me trying to restart the map after I took out his sniper on turn 2.

It doesn’t look like they completed their first round, can’t you just replace me with him and me and Sandman go at it? People shouldn’t be rewarded for intentionally abusing/exploiting a bracket system.

I know it’s a game and all but I’ve been practicing with Mitsid for months now (specifically for this), initially 14’s and then 20’s after the rules were updated and it feels like wasted time.

I am not sure of that was his intention, seriously doubt it though… Althouth this is not of my concern, you are the only one complaining… Everyone wanted the tournament to advance though… You should try to speak to him, their might be a reason why he is taking so long…

It’s because I denied him a restart of the match after he lost his sniper so early in the game. After that he took 2 of his chars put them in a corner and slowly moved his commander to the same corner while I started to cap the objective.

Lack of understanding is now complaining? That’s rich pal. This is my first cup for RAD Soldiers, first time using an awkward placement bracket system, and first time using the site. Obviously it’s going to be easier to understand for the other players who have already used your site before. I had entered in the information hit submit and saw 0-0 next to my name so I thought it wasn’t being added. I look now and I see it actually was added (perhaps an admin has to accept my submission? I don’t know…) The only reason I didn’t make a fuss about it is because I was waiting for my game to end with Kin and then submit 1 “complaint” to the admins so they wouldn’t have to deal with an individual complaint 4 separate times. Silly me for being considerate towards people dedicating their spare time for our enjoyment. -_-

First of all, the reason Kinonez was summiting a turn a day is becuase he is in a buissness trip… And I was the one who told him to messege you, he did not want to do it though… Strychzilla I was the one who played on his device, i didnt know it was part of the tournament, he usually dosnt mind, after you refused, he kept sending turns to you, he left on his trip and has little time, he has not reponded to my emails either… And told me to “keep an eye” on the forrums, i did not see the comment where it ended on monday, i am sure he did not plan this… I will call to tell him, you two should talk

I have played both strychzilla and kinonez and I can confirm that they both are very good. Unfortunately according to the rules only one of them can go further. In my opinion the fair play issue is very important and Paul should take care of it.

I would like to point out that I did not know, there was a time limit for the tournament, besides the usual 3 days it takes to make a move or you automatically forfeit. I apologies for any inconvenience that I could have caused, like my younger cousin (Ian87) stated I am currently in the middle of a business trip that is of the essence towards my carrier and ambitions in life. This is why I am only able to send a turn once a day, although Strychzilla did took about 3 or 4 days to accept my match (by the time I had finished two of my games and was on my last move against Iamdarwin) and would only send a turn per day at first, therefore we are both responsible for this late game.

Concerning the way I am playing this game, should not matter, I am fully aware that I am have not moved to the occupy zone, but this is because if I did I would have been hit by his Madame (was using ghost at the time) and probably lost another toon. He currently has 4 all full health but his medic, and I posses three at full health.

Strychzilla I would like to proceed by stating that I understand your frustration and that I will accept Paul decision, just keep in mind that I am trying my best to send you the maximum amount of turns, you will receive one tomorrow (Since I used my only free time to type this)

Thank you Ian for keeping me posted!! I can always count on you and sorry I haven’t replied to your email, haven’t had time to check it, I’ll make it up to you! Say hi to your younger sibling on my behalf would you :wink:

I understand the situation, but would just like to move on, I had sujested that unfinished matches should be rated as ties, I would hate to have another half a year tournament…

Yes I started off slow because I was doing a remote training and left my ipad charger at home so I didn’t return a lot of turns for about 2 - 3 days after the battery died out.

I can see your position and thank you for understanding my frustration. It appeared all too relative that after the PM the turns slowed down and the play crawled. I can see why now though. Sorry if I came off the wrong way Kinonez it just really felt you were trying to abuse the system.

A desicion has already been made!! Kinonez21 advanced to the next round, since the match wans’t finished in time, and it seems both of you took long turns, first Strychzilla and the Kinonez21, Kinonez21 don’t keep sending him turs, you are already in the top 8, Strychzilla, I know you don’t like this and I’m sorry, but you should just leave that match as a tie, and move on, of you ar as good as Mitsid said, then you should do great on the next tourney. No harsh feelings but sorry bro I just want this tournament to advance as fast as possible
