I run an incrementall backup script once every 8 hours and a daily full backup once a day. That uses rsync and should not cause the leak as the script is very simple using some if fi statements.
Another script for rootkit hunter (this didn’t have any leaks that I noticed )
Another for the chroot jail setup I have for ET to start/stop/restart it (this was never a memory hog, even before the other scripts )
