I’ve signed up for the Beta and I check my email account every day (not hours ! :)) but I think that I need to be patient.
While that, I managed to play again Brink on PC and PS3, just as some kind of warm up ! :smiley:

Asked for a key here, on the DB Facebook, twice on the official site (because my first attempt on the previous site was probably deleted in the move) and nothing in my mail box since 3 weeks :
Seems that DB doesn’t need no more betatester.
Too bad for me. :frowning:

We’ll be adding more Closed Beta testers over time. It’s just a matter of patience at this stage :).

Super selfish request coming up; I haven’t played Dirty Bomb since roughly March, I really enjoyed the game but at the time felt like I was running around on empty servers to have a person or two join for a little while. That, and I wasn’t too happy with the spread :slight_smile: at that time I heard that there were going to be some changes to it but I’ve never been able to play since, I took a break, and figured I’d come back later but I’ve tried numerous times to remember which email address I used the Beta key on and haven’t had any luck so yeah, the selfish request :slight_smile: I know there’s others waiting and they should probably be given priority but I’ll put this down and wait for a bitty and hope I get another key. Ta :slight_smile:

Hey, I have a quick question about beta signups and I didn’t think the question would warrant its own thread. It might be a better idea for me to ask Nexon about this, on second though, but since I already had a forum account here I figured I’d ask in the most recently posted beta thread.

I tried signing up for a Dirty Bomb key on the website, but I receive the message, “This email already exists”. Lo and behold, it turns out I already have a Nexon account (that I don’t remember signing up for, but whatever). Still, I never received any email confirmation that I had signed up for the beta, and I’m worried I might not be on the list. I’m not going to ask for a key; I just want to know if I’m eligible to receive one or not. Thanks!

Having a Nexon account doesn’t automatically mean you have applied for the Dirty Bomb beta, you’ll want to sign-up for that here: http://www.dirtybombgame.com/

There have been quite a few key giveaways from Facebook and Evaczone, so you might like to bookmark these for a chance to jump the queue.

Thanks Mustang, but I feel like I didn’t explain my problem clearly enough. The issue I am having is that I cannot sign up for a beta key, because entering my email address on the website gives me an error that the email I entered “already exists” (I’m assuming this means that it’s already tied to an existing Nexon account). However, I never received confirmation of this and so I just want to make sure whether that means I’ve successfully been waitlisted or not.

The list of email addresses that people submit on the sign-up form isn’t linked to your Nexon account, they are separate, but if you get the message that it already exists then it means you signed-up already and are waitlisted.

However they haven’t done mass key giveaways (which is what the email address sign-up is for) for like 6 or more months, hence the other two links.

Thanks for the clarification. Man, what really irks me about all this is that I know someone with a key who had three to give away; this was months ago before I had a computer capable of running the game so I declined… I doubt those keys are being put to good use and it just makes me envious.

Santa, I would be glad if you could give me a cool beta key that I will get addicted to and love the rest of my life. I will play with splashdamage every fragging Friday and even clean your toilet at the north pole if you give me that superior thing.

PS:- I’ve been very kind this year so I think I need to play dirty, otherwise will my presents become expensive for you :wink:
