I think MAG really got the group thing down. It can’t be that hard to add groups to this game. Strategy is key to this game, and that’s really hard to find with randoms. Fixing this one thing would make the multiplayer so much more fun and less frustrating.
Please add lobbies into the game.
Anyone else find that sentence ironic?
You might have had some decent points in your post. I stopped reading after that sentence though.
Us PC-supremacists have better things to do than to listen to the ignorant ramblings of the Console-supremacists.
I was speaking to the PC gamers who have a chip on their shoulder when talking to people who enjoy the game on the console. I in no way suggested that consoles are better than PC. If you take that as an insult you must feel insulted quite alot.
has no one made the effort to click on the post game tabs? Below the XP rewards window there’s a scoreboard… lower down there’s a Global/Team/Fireteam… that’s pretty much the lobby with the game’s chat that you scroll upwards through.
Seriously, does nobody make the effort to click-the-unknown without being hand fed instructions anymore? Maybe the vast majority of posters need to go back and play Monkey Island or something so they can learn how to use a mouse!!!
And people say gamepad gamers are retarded…

Could you learn to read the post before jumping to conclusions. The problem was that games filled up to fast for the invite/in game system could support. Now theres simply no-one playing on console. so its a mute point. However, should the game repopulate the lobby system would be vastly superior to the systems you’ve ignorantly posted. Even though we’re fully aware of them and have already stated that they do not fill the need they are intended for. A need lobbies would easily fill.
Agree with this post. Please add a lobby system so that clans can practice strategy and play together. And, on that topic, could you please add clan support for Brink? There are plenty of clans who want to play Brink on PS3 but no set clan system ATM.
lobbies - dont even know why we have to discuss that … its clear that we need lobbies, we want them, and they should listen to the playerbase.

Calm down son, I didn’t say the lobby system that is in place is great, I was just saying it’s THERE. And you may be aware of them, but alot of other people don’t seem to be (perhaps you should have read more than just the original post along with the various other threads that are beating the same horse), so you shouldn’t jump to the conclusion that everyone has explored the system. THEY HAVEN’T!!!
Look at these forums, they’re full of whiners that can’t grasp what Brink is about so they try trashing SD for making a game that goes way over their heads.
As for the console population situation, I don’t know. I play PC so my (and other pc gamer) expectations of what the lobby should turn into aren’t going to be the same as what should be done to cater to console gamers. But judging from the many gripes about major bugs that console gamers have had since release, it’s hard to argue that lobbies are the main reason that have driven people to stop playing, or will attract them back. I could be wrong on that but going off what I’ve seen in this forum, I don’t see it being near the top of Splash’s “things to fix for the consoles” list.
