@AlbinMatt indeed, it was invaded by romans back when it was just a bunch of tribes and was then taken back by the Ottoman empire which is when Algeria started as an actual country, although it had different names, it managed to build an impressive naval fleet which was it’s main source of wealth by first pirating and after a period of time taxing merchant vessels which were traveling the Mediterranean sea (just like how Algeria’s economy is relying 98% on petrol nowadays), this gave it a very bad reputation among European countries as their trading routes were getting blocked, due to Algeria’s overconfidence in its fleet scientific research to improve it never happened and the fleet quickly got exterminated by the European’s advanced war machines and France took control of Algeria.
it has been invaded for a century and after many battles from the resistance Algeria became independent only it was left in ruins from the constant battles, now here is what makes me think almost all of us are retards, instead of learning from the French architecture which was left over we try to build our own (pathetic) city layout which consists of having 30 BLOODY HOTELS NEAR EACHOTHER (im not joking sadly) and all of the residential buildings in one area with nothing else in it, and let’s not forget the fact we have perfectly farmable lands in almost all of the northen and middle region and potato culture is doable in the south, we are still relying almost entirely on petrol in our economy and only recently we started refining it before exporting it, also the school system is a joke and i won’t bother talking about politics.

Also, in Europe we have a bunch of small countries (the small states at the Caribbean are the only worse in the world in this regard) so it is easy to remember the 3 countries is NA compared to that

It all comes down to marketing and exposure. You could build the greatest game ever, but it won’t matter if nobody has heard of it. I had no idea dirty bomb was a thing until a youtuber called “Rags” used it as background gameplay for his commentary. And he eventually did a full video talking about the game itself after fans requested it. (This likely caused a small influx of players)

You guys REALLY need to get some ads going (which I understand is expensive) but I think you have a good enough game to justify it. Once people are in, I’m confident a decent percentage of the initial influx will stay, and more than likely eventually spend money on it, which is ultimately what you want.

There are so many good games that just die because of lack of exposure outside of the steam page or initial trailer(s), or because of a less than ideal release, or issues on release.

I firmly believe that one new shiny trailer and some “hype” could easily double the current active playerbase.

TL;DR a lot of gamers are enticed by the jingling of something new and shiny in front of their faces, use that to your advantage.

I really, really, really hope you will never actually work in statistics or any field in which you have to gather data. When the options you give people to choose from are already that messy how will the conclusions you draw look like…

But tbh i would expect much more polish and russian players. A lot of f2p games are flooded with them. :slight_smile:

  • Germany is central europe, not western
  • There is a huge area Germany and Russia, and there live about 120 million people on that 1,600,000 km2 area - not as big as South America, but still
  • didn’t you think if there is a western Europe, there could be other parts of europe too? (no offense, just asking :smiley: ) - you could just write Europe

@n-x Thanks for the encouraging words man, you should be a motivational speaker! Nah, this was ky first time doing statistics, managed to score decently with the “qualitative research on language barriers and online international communication” I did. (I actually just BS’d my way out and added some links to university journals that I barely read). Frankly, I’d appreciate any tips you adults might have.

@TitaniumRapture If I were to defend myself, the education in my country focuses too much on itself. I recently moved to a semi international school, and only now am I learning about world history and international geopolitics.
