By default, phoenix had the hotchfer, m9 and knife and I believe 100 hp. He was a fast moving medic and rather than dropping health packs or deploying a health station he would have an activated healing burst, an aoe heal and could defibrillate friendlies along with revive himself if he is down.

alternative loadouts included crotzni (nader default) and kek-10 (bushwhacker default), aoe heal worked without having to stop firing

I do remember if you got shot his healing pulse stops working. I also remember the healing pulse healing at such a slow rate it was almost useless. :frowning:

I hope either I remember wrong or they increase the rate of heals.

You have the same with Sawbonez health packs too, if you’re hit when you’re regaigning health, it stops. It will be op otherwise, but let’s see what they’ll do about Phoenix.

Honestly Phoneix looks kinda subpar, he has the weakest healing, and the revive isn’t instant, it takes about a second. The only thing he has is he can revive well at least, about as well as everyone else.

But then again who knows, I may find out I like this guy more than the others.

As far as I can understand how the local files are built, there’s too many things missing to have a phoenix release without a patch.

As you can see no Phoenix yet, but he will be back. Also fyi the free Merc rotation will be Kira, Sawbonez, and Fragger.
