Obviously most of the people are going to get that Triple A game even if they could buy both. Thing is, we are all rich here and mostly rich people play Dirty Bomb anyway. We have computers and apartments with high tech internet connection. We are living in safe area, where you dont have to worry about starvation, diseases or war. There are billions of people out there who live without western luxury.

If SD wants to increase their card sale. They should build more advertisement, create more compelling products and extend to new countries. If they suddenly start selling same cards with lower price, it would irritate veterans that already bought them as “exlusive”.

Point is. Most people here dont spend their money with reason, instead they trust their sentiment.

Of course we’re better off than people who couldn’t afford the game at all, but that doesn’t mean everyone who plays DB has money to throw around. It is a free to play game after all, a lot of the people playing it only play it because they can’t afford to buy other games. Not having to hunt your food doesn’t mean we can all just throw tonnes of money around.

And yeah, it would piss off some veterans, but being a veteran of DB myself, the way I see it, that’s pretty expected of a game in open beta. Everything is subject to change, and SD hasn’t shied away from making decisions that angered veterans in the past. The way I see it, it’s better to start something new than to keep rolling with a mistake just because you’re used to it.

They could probably sell a lot more if people weren’t being scared off by the price. A few dollars for a card will draw in a lot more people than 15$. It’s not like supply is an issue after all, they can sell as many as they want. The only issue is annoying some veterans, but it still seems like it would be worth it when new players are constantly complaining about the overpriced nature of DB.
