This better be a temporary buff for Phantom. And still couldn’t give him the 10hp back.
I have posted lots of suggestions already as well as many others and the community could still throw out more suggestions on how to balance him in different ways.
While I understand it’s not great to take suggestions from the community as it’s hard to say who are competent enough to speak for the competitive side of the game, as the competitive side doesn’t really exist, but after all this time and only 10% pixel cloak duration and a barely useful EMP change? That’s it?
If this is confirmed as “THE rework”/his final changes. Welp, I guess all I can do is make another shitpost as by then I can confirm that SD isn’t looking forward to a balanced game, but rather slowly slightly change a few numbers around every now and then when the community gets too vocal and moans for too long about something being OP or useless.

HERE COMES THUNDERRRRRRRRRRR! EMP effect was too short to be effective anyways.
So Phantom now hard counters every single engineer ability? I’ll have to play it to gauge, but that sounds insanely good.

Ok phantom changes seem kinda cool, will like to try them out. But thunder? He cant disable health stations now? So what exactly does he do other than being a huge fat fuck in the middle of the map? I honestly dont see how this has made thunder better? Someone pls explain to me…

Still cant cook Thunder’s conc grenades shakes head.
I also don’t get the reason why you’d take away the EMP effect of his conc grenades. That made them more useful than a simple flash bang grenade.
The changes feels okay to me.
That +10 hp buff for Thunder is definitely well deserved. The removal of the EMP effect is debatable though. A fuze time reduced from 1.2 sec to 0.9 sec feels pretty strong. Basically, this allow Thunder to be more efficient than Fragger in open areas… Feels okay to me I guess. But I can’t decide myself untill I try.
I feel like the emp field for Phantom will annoy me a lot, but at least he gets a well deserved utility buff. I wasn’t expecting that kind of change though. Hopefully the servers won’t be awfully crowded with Phantoms when the changes will come out though.
So Thunder is being made more effective AND getting an increase in HP. Where’s the increase in the size of the miniature head hitbox?
Also, why are they still ignoring the fact that Fletcher has been immensely overpowered for so long? He was overpowered before Thunder even came out…
Probably because Phantom is getting a EMP…sure Auras would complain if they were constantly getting shut down by a team with a Phantom and a Thunder.
