Watching the interview, around 3:41 in regards to customization - not looking forward to the “scopes and attachments” aspect of customization, its like you are taking a direction towards COD… i don’t like it when there is great variation between the weapons, i want an even field knowing that we both have a stock weapon with its already intended advantageous and disadvantageous aspects to it.

Of course i don’t want to get too far ahead of myself as this content hasn’t been released yet… i don’t mind extremely passive attachments like silencers or red dot sights for example, but i definitely do not want extra mags, rapid fire, reduced recoil grips and all that nonsense that dramatically alters the handling of the weapons effectively allowing the player to nullify any learning curves to the weapons by making them very easy to control.

We share the concerns you have on this stuff and plan to tread very carefully. In fact we’ve not really settled on a design for attachments at all yet, which is why we have not mentioned them, we just know we’d like to do them at some point.

Any feedback and thoughts you folks have on attachment systems you’ve used and liked in the past would be good to hear. As always we are tending towards side grades, not upgrades.

the only realy fair system would be sale skins like in lol.
sale weapon colors …
only visual upgrades
i have post it already before tribes ascend is dead because there came out op weapons and it was impossible to play that much to get this weapons in time too
as soon you inflict gameplay it will be pay to win
quakelive payment system is ok too but not amazing

btw am i the only one who thinks “MMO-FPS” and such is really misleading? Because i heard this phrase multiple times, in both internviews. Every MMO is multiplayer, but not every multiplayer is a MMO.
