Operatives, ideas for improvement

(Glyph) #21

As always, most of the feedback in this thread only proves that the players are the ones that are lacking experience playing as an Operative. The class is perfectly fine the way it exists with the possible exception of being able to begin hacking from a remote location so long as the hack box is currently attached.

I will agree that silencers need to counteract Combat Intuition though, but that has nothing to do with Operatives specifically.

Yeah, thanks for that, mate - I’ve always said that the boards could use a few more patronising ****-heads…

Why don’t you and your awesomeness trot off now…lovely, thanks for playing.
no, he s fine as he is.

@ hack objective:

it s not supposed to accomplish this objective on your own. the operative is just the dude who has to stand nearby. period.
what your teammates are doing is way more important. work together, attack together, stay together, provide cover… and that freakin thing is hacked in no time
Agree. If you are trying to hack by yourself your team is fail.

Or bots, of course. Which is much the same thing…

So he needs a buff, but in some cases he also needs a nerf?

We really need to make our minds up as a gaming community… wait, no, we’re right on the mark.

overall I think it’s very well balanced…but +1 for transfer supplies being an operative choice.

topicstarter too lazy to be operative, IMO.
in both ET, QW and Brink, its hardest class to play, and by “hardest” i mean amount of hard work to be handy for team.
but on bright side: IF you do it Right, you team really-really benefited from.
