d@thl rocks +50 too i guess and i saw one more +50 level not outc1der
Ok, so what is the Highest Legit Level atm?
It’s called sandbagging.
The only way a big fish to get bigger is to eat smaller fishes to be the biggest fish in the water. Developers implemented some sort of level bracketing but beyond a certain level, it’s an open sea out there so it becomes survival of the dedicated.
There’s a level 60+ NA player, other than that you have to remember the levels have not been reset since the closed beta in march.
Also, the xp requirements for level ups do not increase after 7 to 8, they’re a static 400k each.

Sandbagging is where you intentionally play worse than what you’re capable of doing. People do that for a number of different reasons. Sandbagging has nothing to do with a leveling system in any game that I can think of.
My teammate, F8. Hardup is the highest legit ranked player in NA and possibly the entire game. He is 64 atm with less than 700 hours logged on Steam for DB.
Literally not a single match goes by without someone saying something about his rank. Its comical at this point. Every single match, without a doubt he gets the obligatory “lvl64! no way”, “nolifer lvl64”, “get a job lvl64”, etc etc.
And the last level reset was sometime during closed beta. Alpha and most of closed beta play didn’t count towards players current level/rank.
I get that a lot and I’m not even 40 yet. Since levels mean nothing I wouldn’t mind them only being viewable to yourself rather than everyone to avoid comments.
Outc1der seems to get a level every day or two, and he’s what, high 50s now?
I also believe there’s someone who’s like mid 60 too? Edit: Above post :v

Thanks for this information… Why is there no xp chart for leveling in DirtyBomb? I wanted to know how much xp I needed to catch up. 3.35 million xp right now (level 15) with 183 hours timed means I’ve gained about 305 points per minute. This also equates to around 4,575 xp (objective game). I’m saying 15 minute objective games.
According to my Maths, if I were to spend 600 hours on the game (not 600 more hours) at the current rate I’m getting xp, I would gain 19 levels, or I would be level 34… One would imagine 1200 hours would get me to level 64 (not true, since the first seven levels, you don’t need 400k xp to get to the next level). I would actually gain 46 levels to my 15 already so I would be level 61. This would take a total of 30 weeks or 210 days (roughly 2/3s, a little less of a year) to obtain. 21 mil xp (rounding down). Sorry I didn’t show the Maths but it’s completely accurate. I should also mention when I say “week” I mean if I played 40 hours a week for that many weeks (30), I would be level 61. Not sure if Steam records the time in the lobby as “game time” so obviously all of this would be slightly off and if Steam goes down.

God damn. With 400k per level… you would have to be playing Objective 10k xp per game (40 games). Average that to 15 minutes per game, it would take you 10 hours of playing games straight (not sitting in the lobby). Or you could average 20k xp per game and get two levels done in one day. That’s a lot of Dirty Bomb. I could do more, but I won’t (but I could)…
There isn’t much of a need to catch up in levels as you don’t gain anything, outside of a normal case, when leveling up. Also, Steam records the time you are in dirty bomb. Whether you are playing or in a lobby…it all records. I have 370 hours on record and am about to hit level 40 but only about 320-330 of them is time where I’m actively playing. And a lot of that time is me in a lobby/waiting for a game to start.
Reason why hardup has level 64 and I have level 20 is because I do stupid shit that gets me a low score. Defibbing people to death for instance.
I bet hardup rarely has less than 10k points every game.
Levels reset when it moved to Steam. But yeah 40+ is mind boggling. I feel like these people mist not have jobs.
