Why do people like execution anyway? Or how is execution a better mode than objective or stopwatch? To the vast majority of us, execution was just Dirty Bomb messily stapled over CS:GO. Just not very good. I remember there even used to be missions that would try to get us to play execution which most of us immediately dismissed so they ended up taking those missions out of rotation. So one of you execution players… please explain to me the appeal.

I think getting angry over a few hours is super petty. Just don’t wait until last second to get your satisfaction. If you wanted to play Execution or buy CW cases or buy obsidian Phantom you should’ve done it in the past few weeks. Not waited last second.

I dont know wby but i just liked it. Plus i could eat dinner while playing it. And i did misions 90% of the time

@watsyurdeal This post wasn’t about why it was taken away but that they robbed me of my last chance to play it.
@blufflord I am personally offended. They knew how important this was to the execution players yet as an ultimate snub they took it early.

@WatchAsILead Sorry I have a job. I don’t care about the cases. I played execution everyday for two years, was looking forward to my last hooray and didn’t get it.
I agree I’m being petty, but unless you voice why your upset being upset is useless. I’m letting Splash Damage know that I was upset by their actions…I’m sure I’m not the only one…But are willing to tell it the way I saw it.
I was already to play my last few hours of Execution then have the update happen and check out Javelin. Instead I didn’t get my last time playing and then didn’t give a ratz about Javelin.
Yes I have calmed down 24hrs later but stand by the purpose of this post to vent my frustrations about how this was handled.
Can’t wait to play Objective and when that gets boring play some Stopwatch…oh actually that’s the same thing so I guess for a break will need to play another game…

@Meerkats I liked it mainly for the atmosphere and liked the 2min rounds each with an exciting finish. It was still a very fast paced game but in 2min waves. if you died early you had your self to blame but could make amends soon enough. As for the merc mechanics being broken I disagree. The abilities is what made it for me over similar games. You could play serious or just have fun.

@jemstar Yeah most of us have jobs here lol. Point is you should of gotten it while it was around, Waiting until last second to have your last “hooray” in any circumstance whether in game or real life will never be fruitful for you. Execution isn’t any less fast paced than Objective, Stopwatch or ranked. And if you’re getting bored of playing Objective then maybe you should try out some new mercs, each merc has a completely different playstyle and forces you to play different.
