North American Game Night - Anyone Interested?

(Seanza) #21

Shouldn’t be a problem providing the dates are good!
Right now we have 25% more people available to play on Thursday or Friday, but really that’s only 5 as opposed to 4 on Tuesday :o

We need more responses!
give a week to ppl to respond than start next week your decision

I know, it’s just been a few hours… But in the end it ain’t gonna be my decision: the people shall be heard! I am but the accountant tallying the ballots

(rookie1) #24

yeah your right I didnt formulate well …your only like ECHO of the disponability :stuck_out_tongue:

(BMXer) #25

I am in the middle of moving so I won’t have internet for a few more weeks. I look forward to some NA DB once I do.

(Valdez) #26

thursday / friday anytime works for me.

(INF3RN0) #27

I’ll be on/off for the next couple weeks and then should be more available in July.

(DB Genome editor) #28

Valdez’s inputs have now given Thu & Fri a significant lead, but that’s still only 6 of us best case scenario so way too soon to call it…

(INF3RN0) #29

Thur-Fri will also be the best times for me over the summer term.

(NeroKirbus) #30

I usually work til’ 11pm pacific so anything past 2am eastern for me…

I really don’t have a specific schedule but once there is a set date and time I imagine I should be able to make it.

(LeeStyle) #31

Friday & Saturday I’m available, haven’t had the game installed since March due to the dead North American scene and atrocious changes to netcode making UK unplayable from California.

Looks like our colleagues down under are outdoing us:

So, let’s hold a game Friday night and/or maybe Saturday night?

What’s the goal here? To just populate a server meaning we hop on a public stopwatch server or are we trying to organize a pick up game with two teams on voice? The latter would require a passworded server. I prefer the latter, but I’ll let you run the show.

(DB Genome editor) #34

I don’t mind either way in the long run, but for now we have at best 7 potential players on Friday night. Until we have a larger pool I would suggest we stick to a coordinated invasion of the public US SW server. That way others would be free to join as they please (I’m sure if we have a large enough game going some people might drop in unannounced…). We can look into something more formal when we reach a more critical mass.

What do the rest of you guys think?

After playing my first scrim with the EVZ fellas today I would vote for doing an organized 4v4 or 5v5. I had a blast with the whole team communication and competition.

I have a password protected ventrilo server if we wanted to use that for voice communcation. Or were you referring to a password protected game server?

If we did go this route we should have at least 8 people logged into the same voice chat before we started. Picking teams and coordinating plans is much easier this way.

Just referring to the game sever. We can use mumble server for games as we have done w/ the prior Tuesday Night Fights.

I can’t make it this weekend, next Friday I can though. Thursday is my best night. Thursday and Fridays I’m free. Any other day I can play after 11pm.

(INF3RN0) #39

Same here, but once I get off vacation and back to school I should be able to make most Fridays.
