The thing is that if they don’t release demos because they are afraid of people judging their game as if it where an unfinished game, then they just need to make a well polished game ! I mean, when I buy a game I expect a finished product, not some beta version that will get updated later if they want to and judge the sales are enough to even try to fix the game !

When you go into a restaurant and order a meal u want something tasty, well prepared and cooked ! If it’s not cooked then it’s BS, it’s the same with games ! And the problem is that with games, the more it’s gonna be tolerated by gamers to receive beta-grade games when they buy a game, the more they are going to do it, because it’s going to be cheaper for them ! It’s got to stop. The milking the cow thing has to stop.

And as for demos, well PC gaming is more expensive in general and players on PCs are entitled to have a demo to test the game ! At least to see how it will run on their computer with their specs !
I personally have an old PC, I can play some recent games to some extent, and some are just unplayable, and some are good surprises and run very well. So just to see how it will run for me is important, and if I can’t because there is no demo then I won’t buy the game, no matter how look it looks on videos and screenshots etc. I’m not a nice little sheep, if I can’t see how it works, I won’t buy it, nevermind, there will always be other games soon enough. That simple. So you can see how for me the “there’s no demo kid, just buy our game and stfu” thing doesn’t work and never will with me, and I hope it’s the case with other people.

I’m REALLY glad they didn’t go for a demo.
