Instagib will never return because it broke competitive, much like Sparks and PDP Redeye do currently. It was repeatedly asked to be removed for months if not over a year.

When you’re forced to run the same mercs to counter that merc something is very, very wrong. Current iteration of Vas is bordering on useless though due to Redeye’s sheer effectiveness in almost any scenario, but bringing back the gib isn’t the way to bring him back - and nor is +10 hp @SplashDamage.
