It’s clunky. When you throw sticky bombs you want it to be as reactive as possible in order to try to score a direct hit : the quick skill button actually acts like some kind of macro that switches, throw a sticky, and come back at your primary (actually, this is what happened the last time I used A instead of switching on my stickies directly, which was a long time ago). This makes the throw feel much more clunky and hard to aim than it should. This is why it’s more efficient to directly switch on your sticky bomb than using your “quickskill” button.

It’s not any different for a single sticky and I can still throw 3 stickies with the same accuracy in less than 2 seconds (in-game clock) with either method.

I was just hoping for some concrete info rather than speculation. Because I don’t like misinformation and you said that your way was more efficient. Which means you have quantifiable proof, but I don’t see any.

Thanks for this info! I prefer to have a weapon out, so I have both quick use buttons bound to thumb keys on my mouse. I’ve been meaning to test if there’s any delay in throwing stickies, but never got to it.

How is this misinformation ? I just gave you the reason why most of Fletcher players used 4 instead of the skill button. It’s like an opinion. If you do fine with the quickskill button good for you, but don’t say I am trying to misinform you. What’s the point about doing this, seriously ? I’m here to help, not to troll or something.

Lol the only merc on rotation i dont have is fletcher i wish if you had a merc that is on rotation you should be able to at least choose another merc maybe if you dont have those mercs you get them but if you do then there are maybe 3 others to choose from coz otherwise people who buy mercs might not get free rotation because they already have them.
