That’s a bit uncharitable to Chavo One - you assume he won’t be able to get Venice running nicely

I didn’t mean for it to seem uncharitable. That, infact was not my point. I went to a LAN party on the weekend where we only played custom maps and most of the other players did not recieve them well since the framerates of may where low for them. I enjoyed playing the custom maps and I cant wait for Venice and Battle of the Bulge to appear.
I also indicated that I am not a mapper. My last attempts where back with the Half-life engine and it all sucked. My compliments go out to everybody who creates a map, especially the highly detailed maps like Venice as this helps to add a sence of realism to the game and is not just a “run around some dumb looking blocks” game that reminds me of playing games on an old Atari console machine back in the eighties.
