That sounds pretty cool actually. The map would need to be very well designed so that the defense would more than often split up amongst the obj points and wouldn’t always just sit at the delivery. I also like the idea that they can reverse the process, but then it would need to be moderately difficult. Again a nice idea.

An idea I had back in Brink that could work here also was that on the last stage the objective is an AI controlled gunship you have to fight for whatever reason. Perhaps you could add in constructible turrets you can use and such that can be taken down by the defence and every now again it lands for a few moments to give the defensive engineers a chance to repair it a little.

Further to that idea how about a gunship flying overhead trying to drop ‘something important’ to a designated area in the map where it can land safely. The gunship would fly relatively slow for a gunship, perhaps because it’s flying between high rise buildings and has to take it steady, I dunno. The gunship can defend itself to a small extent with on board weapons but relies more on the attacking team to protect it from fire from the defence side.

When it lands the attacking side have a doc run to secure the ‘something important’. However if the defence can bring the gunship down before that happens it crash lands, depending on where about in the map it is taken down it will drop at pre-determined spot in that area. Once brought down the roles are switched and the defence are now on the attack and have to secure the ‘something important’ to their own drop off point in the map.
