New Map will be a Checkpoint style...

With checkpoint style, do you mean one has to stand around the flag to capture it for some time? Or is it just touch and done?
For the later there is already a map having that, alleys
http://activegamer.net/et/map/295-Alleys_(Final).html

Then in any case, the scoreboard is useful if it depends how many got captured - but location does not matter.
So maybe instead of a scoreboard, have the command map updated with what is captured, and I thought about having a display, maybe the radar reticle could show those 8 flags, so one has more or less an idea which one got captured - although I guess that is not really helping. Well maybe after a few times one knows - which flag on the reticle is which on the map…

Having played the map alleys a few times, I can tell that it is very hard, one has no idea which flag is captured - chat is full of spam.
And if one team has a few objective players and the other not, the flags get capture in no time.
As such I thought it would be nice, if it needs an engineer or maybe a covert ops, to destroy a flag, and to capture it one has to build it.
This would also give the engineer class something todo.

Would be wonderful to centralize all that tutorials, like you did on Bunker Wiki ailmanki

I know a French wiki with some tutorials too, some are quite unique, I may translate them sometime

/offtopic

First thing I’ll do on release is read the shader files :stuck_out_tongue: After playing it ofc

hehe, yes the Bunker Wiki is gathering lots of info by now, but its not really thx to me. Most work is done by Falkes! I am already busy keeping stuff on wet.peyote.ch

@ailmanki Basicly… a checkpoint map is like a ctf map… where half a map is mirrored to make the other half, each team has its own side…
each side of the map has flags to capture… the flags start out with no owner ( red or blue team ) and yes, to win the map, either allies or axis
have to capture all the flags… and only need to touch them to claim it for their team… and it can be hard to do… both teams spawn in bases, no forward spawns. Each team has equal spawn times. There will be forward guns for engineers to build, as well as a cp, so coverts have stuff to do also… in trenchtoast ( an amazing map… btw… had tons of fun on it before et came out ) it was a battle royal to get just 6 flags… i’m going to try 8 flags, because im aiming for 32 vs. 32… 64 player map…
