pictures look fine to me…
maybe your browser is rescaling the pictures to fit the window size?

(SteelRat) #23

yep, that must be the case as CooperHawkes says.

Very nice looking map - I love a lot of bits of the map design. But…

The map is very defense-biased though - the capture point is practically on top of the axis spawn, with only one (tricky) entrance - a single mobile MG by the radio with a couple of axis players around would lock it down completely. The radar is also pretty defense biased (travel time from axis ~10 seconds, travel time from allies 25 seconds by the fastest route). Oh - and one of the big panes of glass in the office in the big warehouse near the tunnel is bugged. Also, the radio transmitter icon is off the edge of the command map, so it took me ages to find it. Personally I’d have the command post trigger an allied forward spawn and open up the low door to the transmitter (blocked by boxes atm). I do think it looks like it has promise though

Thanks for the feedback, and do believe me I did make it they way it is on purpose.
I am open to making a Tournament Edition if there is interest though

looks good, though I noticed a few fps issues in places (inside the axis spawn).

we’ll be adding this to our servers shortly and with any luck we may use it for our next season. A TE version sounds good but please give it time to find its natural balance before making changes.

love your work, keep it up!

We’re running it on our campaign servers currently. Great map yet again but yes the axis do have an easy time defending :(.

Cool, I’ll keep monitoring this thread and will listen to feedback.
After a while when the map gets widely accepted I will consider a TE version, there is no rush though.
