A fair point to make, in all honesty. However, I can’t help but point out that you’d have to be a newcomer to think going solo-queue in ranked is a good idea (or just have no one to play ranked with). Since you’re pretty much doing a coin toss each time you enter a game as a solo-queue, the whole concept of it as a real major concern falls apart in the grand scheme since it would be the player’s own fault there for taking that risk (especially if it backfires on them).
It’s essentially like saying that a gambler who doesn’t know when to quit isn’t at fault for the losses he incurs pushing his luck, it just doesn’t hold up to any form of rational thought.
