I would suggest that moderators keep a no naming and shaming policy. Right now players are being accused in public, even if there was some evidence (which isn’t the case here either) it should be privately reported.
new aimbots on 360 (list of players to avoid)
no, its a lie period, end of story I was online playing with him when this went down, everything he saying is a lie, he started this trolling over live yesterday and none of these players ever told him they where using aimbots , I play with these folks, its ok if this is a joke over xbox live, not on the forum and if hes trying to get these guys banned someone has to say something
Wouldn’t it take a lot of work to get an aimbot working on a console?
Changing some variables around is one thing… implanting a whole new feature is another. I might believe it if it was MW2…but Brink’s community is way too small to support that kind of effort.
Sounds like they were messing with you.
I am not at all surprised by this thread. Its content, its source or its fallout.
PC players, please avoid replies to this thread and let the console folks clean their own house. Just nod sagely. Thanks!
are you really the ceo of Brink.TV your account doesn’t have that same shine as the moderators and developers here, its almost looks unimportant.
I’ve only tried matchmaking once. Every other match I’ve ever played in Brink (against humans) was through games setup with people from the chatroom lobby. (I’m on PS3)
XBL as the option to avoid any player you … just note their XBL ID and “Submit Player Review” … in this menu you can choose to “Avoid This Player”. Fairly simple. And it is effective across all games.
why do you even play this game, you actually bought this to shoot at bots, I guess you enjoy playing through the ultra detailed single player this game was made for /sarcasm
I never play bots. I play humans…usually competitive mode. We have chatrooms for Brink players to set up competitive/old skool/big teams matches. I strictly rely on those…and never bother with matchmaking.
So he enjoys it. Why do you feel obliged to write this worthless post making fun of what he likes to do?
Yes, there is already a system in place to privately handle reporting of suspected cheaters. The fact that the OP didn’t use it is why I edited his post.
Brink TV isn’t a company, it’s a organization of gamers and volunteers. We are not officially affiliated with Splash Damage in any way.
All other things in this thread aside, a have two things I wanna say…

I’m wondering if the PC Tampa handles a lot differently from the xbox360’s version. I’ve used the crap out of that gun, and I’ve never noticed a range-wall (although, I do only use it as a secondary). I’ll check it out on my PC copy of Brink when I get off work, today.

Lets not act like there are no cheaters on Brink. Even if the OP was mistaken or misled, lets not all play ignorant. I record all of my games… ALL of them. I’ve caught more than a few players on camera parkouring all over the place with light/medium bodies CARRYIN GATLUNGs and LMGs. Out of admiration for Brink, I’ve yet to upload that footage to the net.
Lights with heavy guns is a reported bug that is hopefully being worked on by SD. While bad, it is different than the h-accusations made above.
It is also sometimes just a visual thing, where they really are a heavy but for some reason appear on screen as a light. But then, of course, those individuals won’t be parkouring all over the place.
Most forums that I have belonged to, it is not permitted to post other people’s gammertags in reference to cheating, because it is an allegation. If one has proof, it needs to be handled privately as a message to a community manager. Because those people he has listed in the OP might be affected now and be innocent.
What’s funny about this thread is that quite a few people have played with these guys that are being accused and have confirmed what I’ve been saying all along. Those guys are good and this community is so damn small that we all know who they are LMAO!
This thread backfired so bad on Securitynoob and the main reason is because the community is so small we all know who they are lol. How bad at a game do you have to be to accuse others of having an aimbot on the 360? Think about it.
Out. Just go right through that door, close it shut. Never peep a single word again and leave.

Ye…you do realize you should think before you talk right? It’s a very well known bug. Multiple times I was playing as a heavy and my friends told me I was a light. And other way around.
