My feelings and thoughts about the dissapointment known as Brink, we should stand up

i know some people say we should buy games to support developers, but really the majority of that money isnt going to the developers, its going to the pocket of the publishers.

If everyone stopped buying games, NO money would reach the developers. But that’s irrelevant - because the publishers would have already closed the developer studios down due to a complete lack of revenue. After imploding themselves, this leaves maybe a few large indie developers with only digital distribution paths open to them. This causes high-street retailers to collapse too. Your plan has a flaw or two, I’m afraid

why not boycott something important rather than a video game which harms nobody? why not write to your local congressman and advocate for positive change in your community? that’s why this thread=fail.

I’m not sure using cracked.com is the best way to make people think you’re arguing seriously

They have some very naughty shaped icebergs on that site though, and they’re a great way to burn a few hours at work if noone can see your monitors

Because its easier and more doable for me to boycott buying a video game than it is for me to convince my governor to legalize prostitution.

sheesh brink doesnt have tiny maps they’re huge and you probaly are just used to the other games you mentioned brink is a good game

Cracked.com have some hilarious articles. They used to be the competitor to Mad magazine but they dropped out of the magazine biz and went online. Pretty funny.

So true, i was so looking forward to see Brink, but then i’ve read some threads here and said to myself, ohh Brink is going to be garbage. And I was right. Sorry SD, u forgot where u came from. No 1st Person Spec, no demo etc. U srewed it. And Bethesda did the rest. A game with Servers and no linux server files? Did the guys miss something? Linux Server are probably the most used one (dont have any figures but i guess that about 70-75% are Linux Servers). And then the release date, Brink was delayed since 1/2 year and then its going to be released and its so full of Bugs?? Cmon Guys, u can do it better but u failed!

Closed due to… wow… not even sure where to begin. OP, please examine the developer and publisher lists for each title you mention so you can direct complaints and opinions to the proper companies.
