That’s right, back in 1999 there were no games with ragdolls (that is, if we leave aside Jurassic Park: Trespasser). But then, a blend of pre-animated and physics can make for some really uncanny death scenes.

No, incapacitating, not decapitating. When you’re incapped, you’re still alive, waiting for a medic to come save your ass. But that’s a tough state to be in if your ragdoll has landed in a half-gainer headstand goofiness… :slight_smile:

Revives work largely like you’d expect, to answer the other question…

Blending from rag doll back into animation for incapacitated state sounds better than I would expect, that sounds like a really hard thing to do.

Then again, Quake Wars also let’s models who die while lying prone do an overly dramatic turn on their back :smiley:
