I got lucky with my bundle, but tbh I’m starting to think this whole rng thing is not rng haha. I refuse to believe the odds of getting the exact same card in a row are just too high to believe when it happens. I only just bought Thunder a few days ago (he was the only merc I didn’t own). Had heaps of spare leads/irons so did some trades. First trade up to bronze, MA71. Did another trade up to bronze, MA71. Decided it was bad luck, used a bunch of my spare bronzes to trade up to silvers. First trade up, MA71. Second trade up, MA71. THIRD trade up, carbon (atleast) silver MA71. I took one last gamble and did a trade up to gold, and got a red swiss MA71.

Literally 6 trades in a row, all MA71. The funny part too? After receiving my 50k creds with my stuff yesterday and having nothing more to spend my credits on I bought a handful of ordinary cases and decided to use the irons to trade up for a bronze. Got another MA71.

7/7 trades all the same card. There’s just no way I swear hahaha.

In the past I won a merc giveaway for rhino, I already had him, I just wanted the 50k credits that came with him to buy another merc. I tried to use the code and got nothing out of it, but the code was bound to my account so I couldn’t give it away. Of the mercs in this ultimate starter pack, the only one i don’t have is Arty. If I enter this code am I going to end up with nothing again?

[left]For $12 I would have like 7 Humble cases rather than already picked. The 7 cards are more useful for new players than those like me who already have cards for all those mercs.
The extra $11 feels more like a donation for the devs/charity rather than anything useful for Dirty Bomb players.

Because it is charity. D’OH. Humble Bundle’s purpose is to support charities like Red Cross and others. You decide how much money goes to actual charities and developers. They don’t sell dirty cheap games or items just for the heck of it.

I’ve been thinking that it’s time sensitive or something of the sort. I’ve noticed it too, I trade up a bunch of cards and if I do it right after one another I’ve pretty much always ended up with the exact same loadout, skin and everything. Another thing is I’ve tried to trade up for a Nader gold red swiss with the CR81 loadout twice (obviously I’ve failed both times), both times it has been right before going to bed (generally the same time always) and both times I’ve gotten the exact same loadout, skin and everything. What are the odds of that? 1/27 chance to get a specific loadout in gold, but to get that exact loadout twice, or even three times?

Seems odd to me, but then again, could just be us being insanely unlucky although I doubt it

When Redeye came out I traded up till I received 1 of each of his loadouts through tradeup only. Had 5 of them at bronze, 2 at silver and 2 at gold when I was done, but I got all 9. All of the trade ups were one after the other until I ran out of lower end loadouts. Doubt it is time related. At most I had 2 dupes of any card at bronze and at most 1 dupe at silver.
