To me, loadout choices are finally quite restrictive and quite obvious right now. First, the main weapon is the biggest thing that will give a loadout an edge to others (K121 as fragger for example). But sometimes you need to give up a better weapon to get interesting augments. To mention one, explodydendron is only available with M4 and BR16 as fragger.
So that’s all about compromise.
Globally, some augments are VERY useful (Springy, Double Time, Quick Draw, Drilled…) in general terms. They give a good buff to any merc during the whole game. If you’re into strong team support, I also recommend role related augments (Extra supplies, Get Up…). Those are really good support improvements and sometimes saves you from falling into stupid situations (out of ammo as skyhammer with ammo drops on cooldown, respawning a mate and see him getting 2-shot 1.5 sec later…). Generally, if I get a good multi-purpose augment and a role oriented augment, I’m pretty satisfied :)[/quote]
I understand that. But I’d like to see an opinion thread that discusses a sort of tier list of loadout cards. What is the best Aura shotgun card? How about Proxy SMG/SMG setup or is SMG/deagle better (as discussed here). Which LMG card is best for Fragger overall. It could be an interesting discussion.
Also, you can get Explodydendron on Skyhammer with the Timik-47 because I have it. But a discussion of why that augment on a Fragger about if the augment was worth using the BR16 or not would be fun IMO.
