Is there any way to run Brink without "going through" OpenGL?

You need an actual Video card, old onboard Intel adaptors don’t work

(Emilio5525) #25

ok here is the picture you need that has my info like you said asus i hope thats the right link to the pic

(Emilio5525) #26

will this work so i can play my game (brink)???

(Fatfool) #27

No it will not.

In fact, it won’t even work for the previous generation Splash Damage Game, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
You’d have more luck with their first game, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

Brink has (IMO) very steep system requirements.

Look at the requirements here:
http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24711

The minimum is a decent discrete card from 2007. Recommended is a relatively high end card from 2009. And those are ‘Real’ Enthusiast class graphics cards I’m talking about. Dual slot, longer than ATX motherboard types.
