Actually I’m pretty sure that the frog is owned by Animation Factory so that’s why they changed his unicycle.

they sell animation, the idea of frog on unicycle itself and images being spread cant be charged for money.

sure people can buy songs made by artist using the vocaloid (artist owned the song and copyrighted it), but nobody can really claim the ownership of hatsune miku since anybody anywhere at any time can make one.
(hatsune miku is probably owned by goodsmile or kadokawa by now)
