Introduce yourself

(Amerika) #61

Hello! I am Michael/Amerika. I have been playing competitive FPS games for quite some time. I’ve ran, helped run and competed for smf>> and 5150 (mostly known for Tribes despite me not playing Tribes). Q3 was my first love and I still play Quake Live. Soldier of Fortune 2 has a special place in my heart. I missed out on RtCW but a friend of mine was in Doctors so I knew quite a bit about the competitive scene. I missed RtCW because I was busy competing in SoF2 and Q3 but I did form a team for ET and I fell in love with the game and Objective mode game type in general.

smf>> scrimmed quite a few times against Splash Damage back before ET’s release so a few devs might remember us. I eventually moved to CS:S then picked up 1.6 and competed in those and I play CS:GO today (not competing though).

So if any of you have competed in those games I’ve probably played you

Hello to all the new shining, talented faces!

(rawket_cc) #63

I’m rawket. I’m 21, and am from the Chicagoland area. I’m quite an active gamer and was/am pretty involved in the Loadout community as a moderator. Unfortunately, development on that game has sort of “dwindled”, so I’m looking for a new game to sink my time into. Dirty Bomb looks quite promising, and quite a few players from the Loadout community are around, so it seems like a good fit.

(Jeebs) #64

Hello one and all, this game has made me switch my pc back on after 2 years I’m shocked it works, past favourites are RTCW, Q3, ETQW, COD4,SoF2 hoping to add db to the list.

(sparseHawk) #65

Hello i’m Andy aka DraX in-game, i’m 30 and live in the uk and i’m a dirtybombaholic, i think it’s bad they give us beta then take it away from us, but at least i have my support group to keep me sane, it’s a cruel cruel world we live in.

(Daltcore) #66

Hey lads, my name is Josh, I’m 17 and from Australia! I have a background in TF2 for 2k hours, and then I switched to CS:GO with another 2k hours on that and I currently sit at an LEM elo in MM. I haven’t been around long but I can’t wait to see this community thrive!

(MissNeidii) #67

Hi! I’m Neidii, I’m 24 years old from Sweden. I got Dirty Bomb on steam because I was craving a new game to play after getting really burnt out on TF2. I played TF2 for about 4.5k hours and played several seasons of it competitively. I’m really enjoying Dirty Bomb so far and I hope it wont die down like Loadout and Super Monday Night Combat did. Loving the art-style and the characters in this game all feel interesting with their own personalities and skills, just the way I like it! Really looking forward to trying out new mercs in the future :>

(hotpinkReel) #68

I hail from Washington state, and though I could change my name, I have embraced my new identity as hotpinkReel. I’m turning 20 on May 25th. I’m a migrant from Planetside 2, a game with amazing potential ruined by poor balance decisions and under funding. I must confess, this has given me great caution and concern for balance issues.

I started playing games at 8 or something, my first game being Super Mario Bros. 3 on my gameboy advance SP. It’s still my favorite Mario game. I played a lot of the other classics before I got a GameCube, then Wii, then Xbox 360, and about 4 years ago I really got into PC gaming. I am a fan of vanilla tf2 and FPS’s in general, as well as strategy games.

(CC_FANG) #69

Welcome new folks! We are glad to have you with us! <3

(Guilte) #70

Hey guys, my names Chris, but I go by Guilte in game. I’m a former professional Call of Duty 4 player, and I have been competiting in games since 2007. I’m a big fan of fast paced shooters and I’m hoping Dirty Bomb fills that space that’s been lacking lately.

(APRenpsy) #71

Name is Renpsy, pronounced Ren-C or Ren-Sigh either is fine. My goal is pretty simple, find a game, any game, and have a good time.

I just started youtubing recently as a hobby. If you see me in-game feel fine to say hi for the cams cause I will most likely always be recording.
You can check me out here: Channel

Anywho to end if you see me… DUCK

Joking I actually have horrible aim

(watsyurdeal) #72

Used to play a lot of Team Fortress 2…but it sucks now

This game is better, much better, I’ll play it till you guys do something silly.

(Solid Stache ~NaC) #73

Yo, my name is Solid Stache from Washington and I am a huge competitive gamer. I may not have played many at an actual competitive level, but I have sunk too many hours in to them.

I have played W:ET, QW:ET, Company of Heroes, League of Legends, DoTA, TF2… Well those are the major ones. I made it to the top 12% in LoL last season and I stopped playing it due to game times and due to me missing FPS games.

I have been lurked the development of DB over the past two years due to the founding program and played it every once in awhile.

I hope to enjoy some games with all of you doods.

(Rjsto) #74

Well hello hello, my name is Risto, I dunno how foreign that sounds to you all but I hail from always sunny Finland. I’m basically a freeloader here until I get bored trying to fix my game or till customer support comes up with working solution to my problem with signing in.

I wouldn’t normally join a forum of a game I can’t even play, but this game seems right up my alley, I’ve always loves games with classes that actually differ from each other!

Hope to see you all in game, cause if I do, I’ve got the game working for me!

(kAndyREW) #75

er bit of a necro on this thread, but I guess I’ll join in.

I like the community-everyone’s pretty nice and helpful.

Hope to meet more of you.
