Now although I don’t know Raziel personally, I do now how she handled the whole Dirty Cups thing. What a lot of people don’t see is the behind the scene stuff that happened involving Sagan, Oen, and Raz. I’m not going to go into it, but those who do know are aware of what I am talking about. I don’t know what qualifies Raz for this position. You’d think a big thing on the list would be someone who has a large following and engages with the community, or at least has an interest in Dirty Bomb. Raz, one does not have a large following, and two doesn’t have any interest in Dirty Bomb. During my time spent playing in Dirty Cups, I had seen Raz on mumble a grand total of 1 time outside of tournaments. Also, as far as the cups themselves go, my team had an issue with the website where we couldn’t kick someone from our team and we basically had to start a new team. The org that I was apart of at the time contacted Raz a total of 5 times asking her to fix it. Raz said she was working on it, 3 weeks later, after having to forfeit several games, I talked to Sagan and he was on the one that fixed it. In the end, none of it mattered because Raz and Oen dipped out. And rightfully so, Sagan wanted to keep it going.
Now, as I said, I don’t know Raz personally, but I do know how she’s dealt with past situations. I really don’t understand out of all the people in the community, why Raz would be chosen. I can name a handful of players who are way more engaging with the community (Faraleth, PixelTwitch, the list goes on) and that are way more qualified for this position.
Regardless, congrats on the position. Don’t let everyone down.
