I think CTF is the best mode. Hard Point is also good though. I don’t really see Attrition as anything more than a combat practice mode.
The playerbase isn’t that bad, but it isn’t huge. I sometimes had to wait 5 minutes to get a CTF game going.

I find a game in attrition/hard point very fast, it takes max 30secs to find a game. If I had to wait up to 5 mins, I wouldnt play the game mode. Let’s see if they overhaul CTF and bring it back.
ever since the last patch, im in a game within a few minutes. im sure thats because the playerbase itself has gotten larger because of a patch, but i feel like theyve tweaked whatever join algorithms they were using. i also only play variety
ok now they said it themself:
“On console it’s been fantastic,” Zampella said of the online activity. “On PC it started off really strong and it’s starting to dip a little bit now more than we expected. We’re looking at that. What are the reasons? Is it something we’re doing wrong? Is it the matchmaking? So we’ll pay attention to that and figure out what that is. We want to see it go up.”

Basically they are not saying the player count is as small as you try to state it. It’s smaller than expected but they are working on it.
The movement system is still holding my interest. Getting faster at it. CTF route video I found below…
they simply formulate it to sound still nice.it would be dumb to say its small.if it rly would not be a problem why he speaks about it?
The PC playerbase falloff was probably due to the game being a **** port and them thinking people wouldn’t notice. The whole “developed for PC” thing was a straight up lie. 60 fps cap, vsync problems, sensitivity tied to fps, garbage optimization, etc. Nice try Respawn.
Pretty sure the 60fps cap was fixed a while ago.
Input will always feel different depending on fps. They are just tied together.

Not really. They removed the 60hz cap on those who had 120hz monitors so they can run on the game at 120fps. Fps is still tied to monitor refresh rate.
the game is too casual for Pc gamers. a lot of things being held back from PCs because it doesn’t work aswell for consoles.
bought it on sunday as it was half price - to be honest underwhelmed.
played through the tutorial and entered my 1st game and was matched against level 50 players - mebbe everyone playing is at that level but that wasn’t an ideal start. After that the round just felt like a riot of grunts interspersed with titans/pilots.
to be fair this might be a consequence of playing attrition, but my overall feeling was it just was far too ‘busy’. i’ll probably give a few other modes a spin, but it certainly hasnt grabbed me.

Attrition is a pretty casual mode. Other modes are more competitive and the AI is mostly used to speed up titan acquisition. Every once in a while though they do make small impacts though. If you kill off their AI units, your AI units will attack titans and other pilots more often and the damage does add up over time. They probably won’t kill anyone on their own, but be a general nuisance and sometimes shave off a shot to kill someone or help bring titan shields down or remain low.

I lol’d pretty hard on this statement.
Especially “Is it something we’re doing wrong?” killed it. XD
If I would care about this fail game, then I would actually visit their forum and list a few things.
Protekt1 talked about a fps cap and you talk about Hz now? Your post makes no sense at all.
(I presume you are the kind of gamer who still mixes fps up with Hz.)

Good lord insult right out the gate, but I understand how my statement could be misinterpreted by someone who is clueless. Monitors have refresh rates such as 60, 120 ,144 and ect. that run in hz. Kind of how vsync works by synchronizing your fps with your monitors refresh rates, Respawn capped the frame rate ( by accident or more like purpose) by making the game sync with your monitors refresh rate, but they also forced those with 120hz monitors and more into 60fps since the game had a 60hz cap. They later allowed the game engine to sync to 120hz monitors so those with them could run the game at 120fps. But for those with 60hz monitors, we are still capped at 60fps with out using the work around that f’s up mouse movement.
