Either way I’ll get nothing…so far I’m half way to level 15…I’ve seen two silvers drop from cases, both useless.
So 85% of those cases will still be Lead…10% Iron…4.999% Bronze

I would want this just to save my nerves with all those flashy colorful loadouts rolling before my eyes. :’(
Nah. Make a case case that gives out cases.
Yo dawg, we heard you liked cases so we put a case in your case.
So, essentially whole idea just ads an additional step to whole case feature, without improving anything.
I propose a further “improvement” to this “improvement”. After each game player has to roll a dice, to determine if he gets a case. 3 times. If he successeds, then he get to roll dice, again 3 times, to determine rarity of the card. Then he will have to roll, yep, 3 times, to determine merc type of the card. And then he get to roll a dice to determine exact type of the card… Hmm, maybe 5 rolls would be more interesting…

This would make a Cobalt as rare as a lead if it’s a one-side-per-rarity. And if the dice has 1000 sides, it just gonna make more gimmicks without improving anything.
There wouldn’t be a roulette for the case drop itself, when you get a case drop it would simply be color-coded instead of being grey. Your inventory page might look like a rainbow if you collect lots of cases without opening them, but the actual case-opening roulette would be much less colorful than it is right now because all the cards in a given case would be the same color (same rarity).
There are no extra step, it only moves the selection of the rarity to the case drop logic rather than the case opening one. It would only be an improvement to me in the sense that it would be less misleading than the current opening roulette which shows way too many high rarity cards vs the actual odds of getting them.
Exactly, then the roulette wouldnt stop right between a cobalt and a gold!
