The guy has no liability to produce factually correct statements. Not to you, not to Nexon, not to Splash Damage. When he does it knowingly to harm somebody you might have a case. But stupidity in itself is not a crime.
If the developer or publisher of a game had a say in which reviews get deleted, you’d never get a single negative one. I hope you realize that.

You seem to misunderstand my point. It’s not about negative reviews or his negative opinion on the game. It’s about his statement being plain wrong, and not opinion-based. It’s like saying: “Dirty Bomb is bad because the sky is green with red flying elephants”. Also I feel there are big differences between negative reviews because games are bad, and reviews which totally twist around objective facts and appear negative lies.
Yeah, I saw this and just shook my head. The whole video was full of fallacy. If the content creator had any self-respect he would have taken the video down and done a new and correct version of the ‘review’.

@SargentSpoon - It would be nice if he followed it up admitting he let his apparent gambling problem colour his opinion, but it can hardly be censored for that. What Nexon/SD could (or maybe even have already) do is reach out to him, try and understand his frustrations, suggest why he’s mistaken and see if he’ll give it another try with a lighter spin.
Or we could just celebrate that both Jim and TB have given this game high praise and ignore this guy. I certainly don’t want any sheep that blindly follow what this twat (or any twat really) thinks in our glorious dirty bomb.
@Jostabeere what grounds would SD or Nexon have to have it taken down? It wouldn’t be a copy write claim. It’d also look poorly on them as having a video saying your game is bad is kind of a douche move.
I am super excited for it’s spiritual successor, Tides of Numenera. I backed it and it’s on Steam’s EA right now but I can wait for the polished/full release before playing.

Gods, the outlook for this kind of RPGs was so bleak before Kickstarter came along. If someone said to me at the start of 2012 that for the next couple of years I’ll have more RPGs that I have time to play I’d have a very hard time believing it
