Damn shame most concept art never gets added. Silenced pistols would have been cool but SD said there is no real place for them in DB, the merc variations withheld different guns, Bush with a fucking aa-12! Seen the ‘gunslinger’ with the dual weird pistols too, that would be a cool idea, low health, fastest merc has ability to shoot while sprinting or something like that. Damn I hope this game can cling on and start to recover because some of this would be truly great to see implemented.

@Mister__Wiggles Proxy also had the Spaz-12 in her concept art, but I would love to see how those shotguns would work in DB. Especially on Bush since he cannot zip around the map like Aura or Proxy. Being able to use an FN scar on arty would be pretty cool too, though I guess it was replaced with the Dreiss… I feel like someone at SD really loves H&K weapons.

they are just really good, too bad we dont have an (m)g36 skin, but we do have an m249 skin, my favorite weapon. now i want an m60 one.

sparks looks way cuter ingame than in the concept art. mostly because the left part of her head isnt totally bald. the concept art is too much russian :wink:

@Herr_Hanz you know, I was actually wondering why there is not a g-36 skin, seems like it would have more flexibility for db, but oh yeah an m60 would be great, I mean the thing is old, but hey it is a good assault lmg.

and I actually like both of her designs XD Though I am in the process of making some cute sporks fan arts for the summer contest dbnation is doing :3

Look carefully at what you can see in the background under the archway and the bridge and you might figure out where that used to be… :wink:

We need this. Badly.
I propose an idea. Feel free to share your opinion. There can be two ways to this.

  1. SD adds paid cosmetics that modify Mercs. (Full helmet Phoenix, Skyhammer with mohawk, Kira becomes a ninja, etc…)

  2. Or they add a new rarity that can only be obtained through elite cases. This would add a “rare” skin in the game (cobalt cards are not as rare as most people, including SD, think). And this will modify Merc Model.

Or they just give us the option of changing which model version we want.

I really like the old DB maps in pre-alpha like Bridge etc. I was watching this one guys channel on Youtube who had footage up from January 2013 playing the old maps and it was really cool to watch, but about 3 days after I posted a link to the footage on here the videos magically disappeared. I can only assume someone reported them or something, since they apparently shouldn’t have been on youtube in the first place.

They probably disappeared because they were violating the NDA that’s still under effect from CBT and Alpha Testing.

Of course, I posted that exact video of the Alpha map gameplay once and that didn’t get taken down. shrugs
