Really?
Having both HA and VA it should attach it properly. Also check that you have obit messages aligned left, tho that shouldn’t create such a large gap.

Is there anyway to make the chat scroll down instead of up? That huge black box for one line of text is stupid or is there anyway to get rid of the black box altogether? I hope that changes before open beta/release because its hideous and takes up to much screen space.

That should work, at least it did for me. Might be it has some weird old values like VA and HA keys still stored somewhere. Could try:

Giving empty string to VA and HA will clear any default values. Noticed the default values were sticking when game started crashing, seemed to be a circular reference.

So I just modify all my UI using the IFF tutorial made by murka in the pro tips. some quick screenshots made on canary. (better with textured maps ! I will change the screenshots soon but just for a quick example)

I change the way you saw the enemy (name colored, heath bar in grey)
Objectives color and transparency (main obj orange, secondary grey, no text)
and most of all ! medics revive icons are now little grey hearts and that’s much much better ! Let’s give a try :wink: replace the block in your ShooterUI.ini.

Try adding a “Align=(V=HA_TOP)” to ObituaryMessageLogPosition

Thx, added this and finde tuned it with offset, now its working as i wanted it to work :slight_smile:
