How do you change your profile picture on the forum?

@sinKrin Yes, I can see that. But seeing as I don’t even have a phone, let alone a smartphone, I always browse from my laptop. Add in that I can personally testify that the method I used to change my name from enjoyableBusiness is now no longer available, there’s definitely something peculiar afoot. This is not the only thread regarding the issue either - there’s some foul sorcery in the air and some of us are caught in its web of smiley-faced doom.

@Vexed I’m not disputing the name change issues, just the profile pictures.

What method are you using?
I went clicked on the cog icon (furthest one on the right) in the main bar next to my name, clicked on preferences, change name and did it through there. It seemed to work ok. Might just be an issue with the ‘on mouse over’ bit of code?

Well when I changed my name, I clicked my name to get to my profile, clicked the big yellow preferences button and then the same as your method from there. That is working again. Inexplicably.

Still got nothing for the avatar though.

Same. It only has 5 panels and “Change My Picture” isn’t one of them.

Go to your profile, hover over the picture, text “Change picture” should appear. Click on it to change.

You can choose from a standard set or upload a picture yourself.
