How do boosters work?

You need 99 boosters for a guarantee drop (since you start with 1% )

But you don’t really need a 100% chance. 30-40% is more than enough

Still terrible though.

I’m actually upset that I wasted 800k on this thinking I’d be able to get a decent amount of skins for once. I really wish there was an option to just buy 1% cases at 1k each like the Containment War event. At least then I know I’d get 10 cards or so.

I agree. I really hate the fact you need 300 hexads for an equipment case.
They should’ve just made it so all equipment cases found in drops will be event equipment cases with 1% chance for an event skins and make the new equipment cases for Proxy eye cost 1000 credits each and go up/down like now.

I know most people don’t like trinkets but I prefer spending hexads on trinkets and not on a rigged case

now I am confused. The 3 different colored cases are just for votes or they give you something?

There are four cases you can buy from the phone.

If you buy green, blue or purple cases you influence the decision on which eye design Turtle will pick for Proxy. Furthermore each of them has a 1% chance of giving you a randomly chosen event card.
The red case on the other hand can only be bought once and will contain an exclusive loadout card for Proxy after the eye design has been picked.

Luckily it seems the proxy eye design I want is already winning, so I probably won’t have to spend anything on that.

Inb4 Turtle kills Proxy, and uses her remaining eye.

You had me at “Kill Proxy”.

Overall though as long as the purple eye doesnt win im happy, not even proxy deserves that much pain.

The 1% is every 3 games when you get an equipment case, so basically until you get an Event Case. If you buy a case it’s only 1 time 1%, in stead of basically infinite until Event ends. at 10% you get it every 3 games, So 10%+10%+10%… etc. So at 30 games it’s 100%, 45 games 150%. So on 10% its about 15 games on average you’d need to play to get Special Loadouts.

The problem is, it doesn’t matter how many games you play because the % chance doesn’t actually go up. Theoretically it should, but it stays at whatever % you started with and so you could never get a case after playing hundreds of games. Now I believe the % technically goes up a little, but my statistics knowledge is rusty. Regardless, 99 boosters to get 100% is ridiculous and so is this event to be honest.

The % chance does increase and adds up over time when you buy boosters. When you have 8 boosters, your odds of receiving a case are the chances of 8% plus all the chances you had when you got cases at 7 boosters and at 6 boosters and at 5 etc etc etc. But it’s based on time, not based on the individual case event.
