So special edition cards (sometimes) look nice, but how many usable ones have people gotten? I worked my ass off/paid money for the 9 that I have. One of them is a good card that I already have in cobalt (and it was ReV, so gaudy af) and another I consider usable because it’s my only Aimee card with the GSR. The rest never see the light of day.
Anyone else not particularly excited by special edition loadouts?
P.S. No, I’m not saying that I don’t want more content.

I have a cw 172 nitro agent sparks; shittiest sparks card imo, but I use it 'cause bling
sighs because no copy-paste job for dickens edition II cards but doesn’t say anything audibly because it’s been discussed too much already…
Since most of the V2 loadouts are not horrible they trump trinkets. Maybe all the long term players have plenty of loadouts and don’t care, but as a new player it was something I have been looking forward to. My hopes got dashed, and I feel myself not wanting to play as much now.

I have 2 a pheonix obsidian with a hotchfir and a proxy culprit with a hotchfir unfortunately my rev culprit obsidian card is a damn shotgun i hate shot guns(except against noobs) cant wait for them to decide to impliment trading. I have the culprit obsidian card my kid wants and he has culprit obisian i wanted

Still think they’re gonna be doing a little more than just trinkets, though. I don’t expect dockyard or turtle or even new cards but maybe some minor gameplay changes (hopefully improvements) and/or increased drop chances for higher tier cards. It’d be easy to do and I don’t think out of the question.

All I know from the stream is there will be no balance changes but there will be some fixes, like the rolled back carryables one (but fixed this time ).
Well as for me, what bores me the most is not that this event will only have trinkets or not, but what the point of having event at first ?
I mean, events are great, the arrival of Aimee in the ReV event was pretty awesome, even with the ReV booster scam, but are they really needed in a game that is still in beta ?
I’m more interested in having a finished and released game, than still having an incomplete and buggy game with events that don’t add any real content to the game. And i don’t consider skins that nobody would be able to get anymore after this as being game content.

Well if the drop rate is horrendous like the last skin events i’d rather stick with trinkets. Imho we need Turtle and Dockyard far more than new skins.

It looks like its about 3 humbugs per minute in game. It also seems that there’s some variance dependent on performance much like the credits (base earn rate plus modifications depending on winning, position on team etc). As a rough calculation it looks to be around 26 hours from the few games I played but if its performance based it’ll vary for everyone slightly.
This fits with what Shoe mentioned being it around half the time of last year’s trinkets as they took 60 hours in total

The question is will they get to release if they don’t find a way to entice players to stay and keep playing? And is trinkets and a slightly better equipment case free every day for a few weeks enough of a enticement?

Honestly to everyone else, I appreciate the fact that I can earn more trinkets this year… and tbh, the obituary flair on the Doge is something I like. <3
Would have been nice if we coulda bought the Golden Equipment cases during the event though.
