I don’t think giving the free merc to everyone would be a good idea… Firstly, you will see Turtle as objective specialist in team almost in every game. Secondly, there are three mercs in rotation, one of which is always objective specialist, so new players always have OS, going to third thing… If we had one free OS like turtle, free rotations would probably be reduced to two mercs again.
Imagine Aura’s healing stations everywhere, and airstrikes being called every second… Now imagine those two things with Turtle’s shield blocking every single door, because he would be free merc…
That being said… I like your idea, but really i wouldn’t stand any Obj. Spec. being free, cause either mines or stickies or turrets or shields (blocking doors) would be spammed and frustrating… It’s better to have them in free rotation as it is (and keeping three mercs in rotation)
