help plz models, sky, and custom textures

yes well the game ET doesn’t use the ‘map’ folder to read textures or anything else … after compiled … a .bsp has all information contained in itself! DOH!

the game engine doesn’t go looking in your ‘my pictures’ folder or your ‘my documents’ folder or your ‘maps’ folder either.

you need to copy the texture folder your using (the whole folder) and place it in /etmain…

alongside, ‘maps’ ‘models’ ‘profiles’ ‘screenshots’ ‘scripts’ ect… ect…

no you haven’t done that … follow directions…

in etmain … you have them everywhere else but not in etmain…

if they where in your PK.3 correctly then they would work also, but apparently, you have them labeled incorrectly…

there are many many tutorials on the internet about this, follow the directions, precisely!

k i know what u mean ill write the path i used whit theyr own name for no confusions(scripts and textures)

in the folder are in:
etmain/scripts/shaderlist.txt
etmain/scripts/rctext.shader
etmain/textures/rctext/“my textures are here”

in the pk3 are in
scripts/shaderlist.txt
scripts/rctext.shader
textures/rctext/“my textures are here”

so they are in the correct folder in my folder and in my pk3 so why dsnt work :banghead:

cause apparently you don’t understand english.

copy the ‘my textures are here’ folder…

paste the ‘my textures are here’ folder in ‘etmain’ folder…

and you figure out about the pk file for yourself…
