Also, I recall that there was a private video on Splash Damage’s YouTube channel that was about Kira’s introduction. That vid included pictures of Javelin’s model and how the rocket launcher worked.
Left click was a regular old rocket launcher, fast projectile speed. Alt-fire didn’t ADS, but instead launched a slower moving laser guided rocket.
I didn’t save the video link… which I regret. But it’d be under NDA anyways.
The Javelin should have different weapons than the other Assault mercs. Like, the Blishlock, the Kek 10, and the Grandeur. Her strongest ability is attacking a point, so she should have defensive weapons; which usually means this: handle better at longer ranges without being overkill.
[spoiler]If the Javelin would become a fire support class instead of an Assault class, this idea still would apply. The class’s ammo ability shouldn’t be packs, but instead a supply drop like I suggested for Stoker.
But then, I also want to see a sniper rifle fire support and that kind of means not being able to give ammo, but instead be recharging abilities since ammo is the main vulnerability of those weapons. If Javelin is a fire support, that removes the possibility of that kind of class. Ah well…[/spoiler]
(I think Stoker should still have a supply drop instead of a regular ammo station.)
