The S&W is hard to use? What? Pretty subjective surely, I find that thing so easy compared to other revolvers. Obviously a standard pistol is miles easier though.

@pinkOrchid the katana is very useful, however it’s situational, sometimes you want to use your gun, sometimes you want to use the sword, I admit I have not mastered it, but I’m pretty good at melee only. Corners are your best friend.

Phantom kind of lacks in the melee department, his only real perk being the basic shield form his cloak and the one hit to 90hp and below chars with a single heavy with Chopper. His speed is pretty poor for a melee only setup. Melee proxy is very viable with the cricket bat and Quick Slash, and the Red Eye card with the Beckhill with Chopper and Quick Slash can be deadly. Personally, I play gun Phantom, and only melee if someone strays too close. With the Katana’s range and hit detection, it’s very viable for close encounters during a gun fight. This could really help in Kira’s case if enemies get to close with her burst rifle. Take a few scatter shots, then whip out the katana to finish them off.

Do what? Start an offline server, type in console a command to spawn as Kira, type in console a command to give yourself Katana, press inspect and there you are :#
