What’s so good about the C51 Phantom? Curious cause I have it among others as well.

@cFn C51 and CR51 are both great Phantom cards, and for similar reasons. They’re also similar enough that the decision to use one over the other really just comes down to kek vs crotzni, which is nice.

C51 has sneaky, CR51 has big ears, which both allow you to engage the enemy easier from invisibility. Sneaky means you can move about without having to worry as much about being heard coming. Big Ears does the same thing the opposite way, you’ll be able to hear the enemies moving nearby before they can hear you, allowing you to stop/cloak before they notice you.

C51’s enigma means getting ‘spotted’ isn’t as bad, but honestly I don’t care about this augment much.
CR51’s bomb squad, like enigma it isn’t a big deal, but it’s a nice augment in general, especially when you have a built in emp to save your team from mines and stickies.

Double-Time. Thank you based Double-Time. I’d probably still use CR51 if the first two augment slots were empty, and it just had Double-Time. Double-Time is one of my favorite augments in general, but it really shines on Phantom, giving you many options you wouldn’t have before. You can now reload in the middle of a firefight without giving up mobility, combine that with the fast reload of kek and crotzni and you can focus on dodging for a second before you continue fighting with a full clip, instead of trying to finish the fight with a secondary or finding cover to reload behind.
Double-Time is also great for turn and burns, since you can reload after each burst while you’re falling back. Whoever’s chasing you has to choose to slow down and reload, giving you more time to prepare at the next corner, or they have to try and keep on your tail without reloading, which you can punish when their clip empties out.

This ended up being a lot longer than I planned. So have a-
TL;DR
Kek and Crotzni are both great weapons on Phantom, C51 and CR51 greatly increase your ability to move undetected and improve your mobility in gunfights, letting you hit and run and capitalizing on his ability better than other (often melee oriented) cards.
