Not your only chance if you absolutely do not wanna buy him. Watch each dev stream or any stream with giveaways. splashdamage/dirtybomb twitters should keep you up to date with the when and where.

I just hope she will be more clear. At first I thought you had to be lucky. But her closing post in the topic made it look like she was going to give it to everyone who posted before that moment.

Anyhow, I guess everyone has to learn so hopefully it will be better next time. Let’s give her a break! :slight_smile:

The only point of critique that I have is that she didn’t reply to my forum PM in which I asked her for clarification about the subject before this topic was up.

I know it’s not a free merc, but there’s an alienware promotion through steam that gives special alienware cases. I got an Aura and Skyhammer Loadout card, both have 3 skills each. Pretty nice. There were 900 of those keys left. I got the code instantly through my email. You guys might want to check it out.

We all appreciate the effort, but to be fair, some is not very clear. A few is kind of clear. A couple is pretty clear as well. I’d have even agreed with a handful. But what’s some? 10? 20? 2? There’s no way you make a post like that without knowing it’s going to get flooded with posts the minute you hit send. Telling people “Sadly I don’t have enough codes right now for everybody but i’ll do as many as I can”, to me, implied that you know there’s going to be a flood, but you’re going to do your best to hook everybody up.

I figure, by page 4-5 you had to have probably realized, “There’s no way I have enough codes for this. Better shut it down.” Leaving it up until page 10 or 11 just sort of leads people on. Especially when there’s no transparency in the process, and we’re just sort of left refreshing the page over and over again wondering if we lucked out or not.

People being disappointed they didn’t get a key isn’t an issue of greed. It’s just a matter of varied expectations not being met based on vague info given about a mini-event people were psyched to have gotten in on while the servers were down. Just sayin’.[/quote]

yeah i was on the first page and didnt get a code…i feel like it was probably just two or three people that got one. which is fine…but that should have been stated, i think.

Only thing I can say is that it was a bad idea the free code stuff from MissMurder. Could have been better from Dirty Bomb Team to give us 50k to all ppl and problem solved.
