The thing is, people were on the first page, and didn’t get anything. I’m not mad by any means, I really do aprpeciate that you give away mercs like that, and its a nice gesture, people shouldn’t of been anticipating they were going to get one 100%
I’m just confused on how you did it, because it seemed like you only had like 3 codes for each merc, considering I was the fourth to ask for sparks :’(

Nope, entirely incorrect. I did not PM her and I got a Rhino code. It was her that PMed the codes and that’s all that was meant about PMs in her post. It was all just a matter of being quick to post. Please don’t spam her inbox.

We all appreciate the effort, but to be fair, some is not very clear. A few is kind of clear. A couple is pretty clear as well. I’d have even agreed with a handful. But what’s some? 10? 20? 2? There’s no way you make a post like that without knowing it’s going to get flooded with posts the minute you hit send. Telling people “Sadly I don’t have enough codes right now for everybody but i’ll do as many as I can”, to me, implied that you know there’s going to be a flood, but you’re going to do your best to hook everybody up.
I figure, by page 4-5 you had to have probably realized, “There’s no way I have enough codes for this. Better shut it down.” Leaving it up until page 10 or 11 just sort of leads people on. Especially when there’s no transparency in the process, and we’re just sort of left refreshing the page over and over again wondering if we lucked out or not.
People being disappointed they didn’t get a key isn’t an issue of greed. It’s just a matter of varied expectations not being met based on vague info given about a mini-event people were psyched to have gotten in on while the servers were down. Just sayin’.

To be fair it got a ton of posts in a very short amount of time. MissMurder is most likely a very busy woman. She probably had to do something else and came back to the forum imploding from all the people wanting codes.

I can appreciate that. I’m not trying to say that she’s just withholding keys to upset us. Obviously there’s a reason. I’m just saying it seems kind of irresponsible to pump everybody up over free sorry-the-servers-are-down kit, and wonder why people are bummed out after when they posted during the thread’s hour-ish lifespan and came out empty-handed.

Besides, because of all of those comments, forum just broke, i couldn’t even login, so it probably wasn’t that easy to stop the whole process…
It is just as I imagined, we are given free codes, and than there are people complaining about it.

That’s fair. It’s totally possible that they’re still in the process of doling out keys. It’s just that it doesn’t really sound that way based on Miss Murder’s reminder post about her key-count being in the some range. I assumed that was more or less confirmation that some was now none, and the event was more or less over.
