There are no games and movies on the ark. Right…
Four Brink Screenshots Make Online Debut
I’m sure you can dig some overdone collections up in a few containers here and there.
I just love the whole artwork of this game. Container City looks really awesome. It could possibly be as famous as Liberty City, the Capitol Wasteland, or even Rapture.
I have a question though? Is Container City located on the ark or is the Ark and Container City separate?
Im noticing the Spire looking thing out in the sea, adjacent to Container City, is that like the Security Police’s Headquarters or something?

That spire is the Ark, so the two are pretty distant.
The whole thing is the ark, so yes, container city is on the ark.
We dont know what the spire is yet but its likely thats where the original residents of the ark are now holding out.
tokamak, Onion News is simply sublime!
and Destructoidpicked up on the screenshots. Called them “fashionable and functional”.
but who care about physical dammage, while you can scare you enemy to death by making shots itself ?
Always more fun to see the screenshots on other sides for some reason. It must be the comments of non-fanboys underneath it.
Also, the dude in the background is like “I’m just going to calmly stroll by while pointing a handgun at you.”
Maybe if you used the right ingredients… It’s Diet Coke and Mentos that creates the fizzy reaction. Coca Cola doesn’t have the additive that causes the bubbles.
it doesn’t have to be cola, as shown here:

they not guess, they KNOW.

(I’m pretty sure that) The Ark is an archipelago or group of islands, the initial one being the Ark itself (the spire in the distance), which is primarily security controlled, and the other being Container City, which is primarily Resistance controlled.
I could have sworn that they said “archipelago” at one point in one of their interviews, but they’ve only shown two islands, which is weird.

I remember the part about the archipelago now that you mention it, they emphasized it saying something like Ark-ipelago or highlighting that it’s a play on words.
All I know is it would be awesome if they added more content eventually and after that a beta. They often idealize the image of MW2, saying Infinity Ward is amazing. I used to think the two companies that would never release a bad game were Infinity Ward and Valve, but when infinity Ward didn’t release a beta for MW2 they changed that. I like this game for the three reasons i don’t like MW2 (although I loved MW1):
The Maps are close quarters,
The guns have realistic recoil (or spread in this case), and
There are no killstreaks.
Sorry, its nothing to do with archipelago
Ark, as in man made structure designed to carry a large amount of people and animals when the world gets wasted.
In this case it was created as a sustainable enviroment by scientists and the elite to live, when the waters rose people flocked to it to seek refuge. The ark was not designed to sustain such huge numbers blah blah blah fast forward 10 years, the refugees turn the old shipping container area into a slum where they live in crampt conditions. so it was originally the old shipping area… why would they put that on another island
the ark itself is made of synthetic coral and its all one place using technology currently being experimented with and soon to be tested in real world projects.
Its all one big thing.
Yeah, I follow that, but since there aren’t any actual islands, any floating substance is referred to as an island, assuming it’s large enough. Container City probably houses more people than the Ark just because the Ark is luxury in comparison. Therefore if the Ark is an island it is logical to consider Container City an island as well, despite the fact Container City is not self-sustaining.
Both the first gameplay video and the first of the old photos shows a measurable separation distance between the Ark and Container City, so you can’t just walk from Container City to the Ark (as would be the case if the two were actually on the same island).
