Can anybody tell me what’s the status of beta right now concerning playerfeedback? I have been unable to play xT for the last weeks because i don’t have the time currently. But i see next to no feedback in the forums. I more expected a wave of players incoming and giving feedback. Is this feedback given over at the Nexon forums? Can somebody update me with this, as i’m a little confused. Should not all feedback belong here in this forums? :o

I ask because i want to see how the playerfeedback of the non-niche players is :slight_smile: Just asked for some opinions how stuff is unfolding, if game is too slow, too fast, definition of fast, what they think of TTK, weaponspread, movement, maps. :stuck_out_tongue:

And it gets me stuck at registration process. Everything works fine until i get my email and go to verify page. Then it stucks at sending (‘verify data’). Sometimes it gives feedback aka ‘error happened, try reload the page’, but meh … will probably try it again in some other time.

You see it as data mining, I see it as an easy way to login for people who cba to go through the registration process.

You are both right. You get a little bit of convinience (and a weak link in your security,) by only having to remember one account name and password, and Facebook in return gets information on what sites you visit, when and how often you log in etc., which they can then use to target ads to you, and/or sell to third parties.

Facebooks Like and Googles +1 buttons embedded in sites are used to track you (even without you clicking them.) If you want not to be tracked by social sites/advertisers/analysts and get an overview of who tries to track you, I would recommend the Firefox add-on ‘Disconnect.’

(For example on this site, the Splash Damage Forums, you are tracked by Chartbeat, Yahoo, Amazon and Google.)

I like the websites that allow for all. Single sign-on with facebook or google and the option to create a standalone login as well… keeps everyone happy.
