Ive been experimenting with the decal ent in wolf (rtcw) and it is great, but I have a question... is it possible to have a scrolling tex where its alpha channel stays fixed, ie doesn`t move with the tex?
what I`ve been doing previously, is using small trisouped, alpha mapped blends, to cover seems between dotproduct shaders, and having my scrolling water move over these surfaces, but with the outer edges of the trisouped blend meshes transparent, so they cover the underneath seems, but the edges blend in with the dotproduct shaders.
I know I can have a decal ent using a static tex and alpha channel, but I`d like to have moving tex with the edges of the decal transparent.
