I’m afraid I don’t understand you fully, but having it stop at 0 time and declare an axis win is precisely what I would like, as I see it, it is really not the most important issue if one team only has to defend and does not actually reach the obj, people will figure out the “bonus” way to win for axis after a while, that may shorten the game, but having it run for more than 30 minutes makes it too long (especially in campaign, my cmpgn is 8 maps, that usually takes something between 2-4 hours depending on how well balanced the teams gets, adding another hour/half-hour really is too long time spent on one round :))

As someone else has pointed out , the fact that the timer does not end at zero only increase the maps appeal imo, like tank or other dual obj maps, you’re not bound by the 30mins timer, sure some dont agree then they should stear clear of this, but i think most will welcome this, as it make the game more playable and is coo-
Recently i have reinstalled rtcw just to sit on market garden/mp_tank wasting away the early hours, sat on defense (chatting/knifing my fellow team mates).
So imo bring on more dual obj map’s :slight_smile:

What I mean is that you can set either team to win when the timer runs out, but if you don’t Axis will win. Theres no middle ground/no winning.

Ok, would you possibly have a link or reference to this ?
Is that set in the script file in the pk3 file and if so could you just create a custom “patch” pk3 for this to avoid modifying the original mapfile ?

Yes this is set in the script, and i have set it to, wm_setwinner -1, that makes up for overtime.

Well i am working on a solution for this problem.
