I have my scroll wheel down set to jump. This way, I feel like I have more control with Fletcher while jump sticky-ing.
Fletcher Thoughts and Questions
1+3: As a Fletcher main from very early on, throwing stickies with reasonable/consistent accuracy is just something that I do naturally, so I can’t really explain what I’m doing to make Stickies work… I just run around and aim/throw stickies instinctively and my stickies make their mark almost on their own. (I am actually looking forward to the supposed AoE nerf Fletcher is getting so I can really test my mettle… but that’s off topic.) You could probably adapt and work out the movement and aiming on your own if you played Fletcher enough. It just comes down to getting used to the arc and velocity to effectively lead your targets from a distance. It also takes playing Fletcher to find all the annoying rails and corners that throw off your sticky aim.

I’ve learned Fletcher by playing with the A31 (Ahnuhld + Lock On) and, while I tried getting into the BL32 because I thought the faster switching would work better with how fast I switch between throwing a sticky and using the detonator, I didn’t notice an astounding difference in how fast I was moving, and instead just made my stickies less effective because of the longer delay. If you’re used to playing with Lock-On, I suggest you stick with Lock-On. (I personally don’t like the Blish which is why I use the Ahnuhld loadout… what a scrub I am ;u;)

I am VERY deeply ingrained with the habit of defaultly pressing 4 whenever stickies are available to I can run with stickies out and throw them without having to switch (only switching to gun to get the last bit of their health bar gone when a sticky is overkill or in 1v1 cases where a gun is to be preferred). If you do something similar, binding Q to switch to stickies as opposed to just throwing them is the better choice. (I never push Q to throw stickies.)
